Radar Sensor FEATURES
Radar Sensor FEATURES
The Radar Sensor provides reliable real-time detection of presence and movement using RADAR / FSK technology. Combined with Urbio controllers and Lighting AI, it becomes the foundation for automatic lighting adaptation, traffic analysis and centralized control across connected urban lighting infrastructure.
Radar-Driven Lighting
Lighting That Responds to Real-Time Movement
The Radar Sensor detects presence and movement using RADAR / FSK technology, providing real-time input that allows connected luminaires to automatically adapt their light output as activity changes.
Connected Intelligence
Controlled Through Lighting AI
Lighting AI combines radar-driven lighting control with real-time traffic information, allowing operators to configure lighting behavior while gaining valuable insight into movement across the urban environment.
Automatic lighting adaptation
Traffic based lighting adaptation
The Radar Sensor detects presence and movement while also measuring speed and direction. This real-time traffic data is sent to the connected lighting controller, allowing nearby luminaires to automatically adapt their light output according to activity levels and predefined lighting rules. As traffic decreases, lighting can return to lower levels for more efficient operation.
Radar Sensor CONNECTIVITY
Radar Sensor CONNECTIVITY
The Radar Sensor connects directly to selected Urbio luminaires through a standardized Zhaga socket, providing a compact and reliable interface for sensor integration. Once connected, the sensor communicates through DALI-2 and RF 2.4 GHz, allowing movement, speed, direction and traffic data to be used by the lighting controller for automatic lighting adaptation and connected smart-city functions. Compatibility is available across selected Urbio lighting models and smart-city equipment.
