Zhaga Controller
URBIO Zhaga Controller (MZPL) is designed for compact integration into compatible Urbio luminaires, providing the control and communication layer required for connected lighting operation. Its modular architecture allows the controller to be used either as a standard unit or in sensor-integrated configurations, depending on the luminaire and application.

Lighting Schedules Defined Through Lighting AI
Define when lighting switches on, switches off and changes intensity through configurable schedules created in Lighting AI and executed by the Zhaga Controller.
Total Lighting Control
Total Control for Compatible Urbio Luminaires
Control every lighting function directly from Lighting AI. Through the Zhaga Controller, operators can switch luminaires on or off, adjust light intensity and configure how compatible luminaires respond to lighting and sensor inputs.
Sensor-Driven Lighting
Lighting That Automatically Adapts to Its Environment
Configure adaptive lighting behavior through Lighting AI and let the Zhaga Controller automatically adjust the luminaire according to ambient brightness and optional PIR or radar sensor inputs.

One Zhaga Platform, Multiple Configurations
The Zhaga MZPL family is available as a standard Bluetooth Mesh controller, as a GSM Gateway, or with integrated PIR, radar and air quality sensing. Sensor-integrated versions can also be configured with GSM Gateway connectivity.

The Zhaga (MZPL) Controller connects compatible Urbio luminaires through a Bluetooth Mesh network, allowing multiple lighting points to communicate efficiently with each other. When configured as a GSM Gateway, the controller provides the connection between the local mesh network and the Central Management System (CMS), enabling remote control, monitoring and configuration through Lighting AI.
